Do not associate with any of your coke buddies, first of all. Try to detox in your home for a week. Or leave town to stay with a friend or family member. Its gonna be tough, you will be hit with some serious depression and anxiety. Prepare yourself for a rough ride, but it can be done. I would know, I went thru the same thing. |

My suggestion is going to seem way out west but it will give you the help you need. You need to purchase a book called The Only Way to Stop Smoking Permanently, by Allen Carr, published by Penguin Books. It has several chapters at the end of the book that specifically deals with cocaine and heroin addiction. It is a very thick book and what you do is read the entire book and replace the word nicotine for the word cocaine. Please it sounds mad but it does work. For the price of a book can you afford to ignore it? amazon.com/ Smoking-Permanently-Penguin-Health-Fitness/ dp/ 0140244751/ ref= sr_1_1?ie= UTF8 &s= books &qid= 1253283370 &sr= 8-1 I am not affiliated to the author - he died a couple of years back. I was once addicted to several drugs at once. Thanks to that man - I am completely free. Try it and you will quit your addiction to cocaine! |

1. you don't need money for most rehabs they are funded by the government and if you live were there's none available then go to the local cops they would be happy to help you out just don't be a rat. 2. try to stay away from the bad crew that dos drugs and remember what its doing to your life and health (mental and physical) 3. Try to re-frame from your addiction by working out or trying to go back to school to gain more knowledge 4. best of luck to you and also remember how much that its costs |

First, I honor you for reaching out for assistance. It's a scary place to find yourself in this position, and you are very courageous. What I can share about addiction is that it is NEVER about the substance being abused, but it is about what is happening in us - the pain, shame, guilt. Sometimes feelings of not being deserving enough, abandonment... that sort of thing. Go to CA, do a 90 and 90, work the 12 steps and take back your life! I know you can do it... My brother did the rehab route at this place. It worked for him... TAKE IT ON!! cocainehelp.com/ |

You could try deleting all your drug contacts, so it would be impossible to ever get it again. |

Hi Kristie, Certain medications can be used to assist with different aspects of the detox and treatment process. Methadone and buprenorphine are some examples of prescription medications used to help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. While these drugs may be suitable for some people as a part of a broader treatment plan, it is advised that you research all possible side-effects and contra-indications of these medications. Drugs and drug addiction are not new phenomena although the variety of synthetic drugs available increases on a daily basis. Addictive drugs such as opium and its derivatives have been around for centuries and have well-established treatment methods in the traditions of Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine in particular. Consequently there are a variety of natural herbal and homeopathic remedies that can help with the various problems associated with drug detox and withdrawals. Certain herbal extracts such as Dandelion and Fennel can be used to increase liver functioning for detox purposes and will cleanse the toxins from the blood, fat cells, organs and urine, while others such as Passiflora and certain tissue salt compounds can help sooth anxious nerves and an agitated mind. See Kristie, the ultimate goal of drug addiction treatment is to enable an individual to achieve lasting abstinence, but the immediate goals are to reduce drug abuse, improve the patient's ability to function, and minimize the medical and social complications of drug abuse and addiction. Like people with diabetes or heart disease, people in treatment for drug addiction will need to change behavior to adopt a more healthful lifestyle. You may get additional info (this place is way too small for a topic as big as drug addiction) from the source below. Best of Luck! |
