Question: Crystal meth addiction?

A friend of mine has just told me that she has been using meth for 2- 3 months. She says that she wants to stop and i believe her, however, she dose not want to resort to rehab yet. My question is is there anything she can do when she has an intense craving? Please just answer the question, i don't need anyone telling me she needs rehab. i know that is a possibility but i want to a least give her a chance.

Crystal meth is a powerful stimulant, altering the user's moods in different ways as the effects of using it gradually diminish.Crystal meth is extremely addictive and using crystal meth causes severe, often irreversible, physical and psychological damage. Since, it is difficult to get rid of the habit, your friend needs support and help of family members, relatives and friends. In case of intense craving, let him chew sugarless chewing gum instead of going for the drug. Make your friend go for a brisk walking or jogging for about one hour. Yoga and meditation will also help him. In the meanwhile, you have to careful watch him for about 21 days. If he can keep off the drug for 21 days, he can become normal once again.

Try a xanax or valium,meth is very hard to kick. just tell her to resist the urge, jog or do something else to occupy herself. i have friends and sis-in-law that had that problem once you stop never do it again. it'll get better with time.

Id say take her to rehab becuase meth addicts arent likley to quit on their own. when people are addicted theyll do anything to get it including steal, and lie about it.
