Please take the time to read and give your advice or input its greatly appreciated and i really need it. was i stupid for doing meth? very. regret it? yes. addicted? not even. i feel like i have to share this with someone; and im ashamed to talk to my parents, friends, etc. so please take the time to read and try and give some adivce. its greatly apperciated by the way im 16 turning 17 in one week well this is my story. i first tried crystal meth about 2 years ago. i decided to start one time because i was a big guy and i had heard that it helps u loose weight when you smoke it, so i decided to try it. after my first time i didnt do it again till months after. again my 2nd time i didnt do it again till months later.. well straight to tha point; i did it about 5 times in a year, then didnt touch it again till a week ago time had passed.. and well a week ago me and my friends got together for a smoke out session (weed session) a week ago, and my friend brought crystal along. so we did it. after that we sold the weed and bought an 80 of crystal for four people and we did it- that was on friday 11/ 7/ 08. after that i bought a 20 for me and two friends on tuesday 11/ 11/ 08. again this friday(yesterday) we did it again. right now im still high on it with no type of hunger and about 4hrs of sleep. like i said im not addicted at all. i can live with out drugs i dont need them to survive nothing like that. the reason i think im not addicted is because i have a strong mind. i always take charge of whatever it is im doing, from school to my job to my personal goals and etc. now i want to know if im damaged badly in any kind of way from the times i abused crystal meth? and does crystal meth really help you loose weight? if yes how much? and how? also should i force myself to eat just a little bit, so i wont have a headache? and well to the ones that took the time to read and give me some advice or your input- positive or negative, thank you very much

You really need to stop doing meth bc there is no plus side to that (except your room must be really clean) and stop hanging out with those people NOW

Yes, you were stupid to do it, and if you are not addicted now, you will be in the future if you continue. It doesn't matter how strong you think your mind is, addiction is a physical condition that will control you no matter how strong you think your mind is. There are much safer ways of losing weight, (though it amused me to see that you were smoking pot, which gives you the munchies...). Try the good old sensible diet and excercise game. If you need help with your appetite, there are safe and effective prescription appetite suppressants for short-term help. I stress prescription because I don't think I would trust any of the hype surrounding any sold over the internet or over the counter. Besides, you need to have a doctor's supervision for these drugs, as they can cause problems, especially if your blood pressure leans toward the high side. Be sensible and stop the drugs now while you can before your body develops a need for it and makes it close to impossible without help.

Stop drugs man ...its a pretty stupid thing to do ... i used to be addicted to weed for about 2 years, and yes you do lose weight (but in a very unhealthy way) but then i realized how stupid it was to do drugs (took me long enough to notice it). and now i havent touched any drugs in the past 7months or something like that ..trust me its worth not doing drugs ..you feel healthier, have more money and yeah take my advice but dont get me wrong, its very hard to quit drugs ..its a long process and i have some effects from smoking weed ..my eyes kind of twitch alot and i hallucinate occassionally..such as things walking in my house..so i hope that helps convice you wish you lots of luck on your venture of quitting :)

Putting aside the utterly false perception that you're in charge, not the addiction for a minute, IF such a thing was that great at weight loss, don't you think that ALL the health clinics and weight loss diet books would've mentioned it (in a legalised form) by now??? It's kind of like f*cking for virginity here; using guns for violence. Completely idiotic thing to do.

Yes you were not smart for using meth. It changes who you are. Yeah it does help you lose weight, but not in a good way. You drop the weight dramatically with excessive use but it harms your body badly. my "dad " used meth for years and he was a very different person. He's really loving but it changed who he was. He's ok now, but only because he got help and stopped. Don't let that happen to you please! Also, don't be so confident about your ability to stop using whenever you want. Meth is VERY addictive and it is not easy to stop! Please don't ever use again!
