Question: What are the effects of smoking crystal meth while on 120mg of cymbalta?

Same effects as without cymbalta...the arteries and capillaries shrink, the grey matter loses mass in the brain, eventually leaving physical holes in the brain, your teeth will rot very quickly, you will lose touch with reality and eventually, like every other meth head in the world, you will have to move into a trailer park with the curtains blowing out the window.

NO, NO, NO! not good at all. The interaction of the two causes an uptake in seratonin levels in the brain.. some studies have shown that a pt. who ingested phentermine (a very mild amphetamine) a WEEK after she STOPPED taking antidepressants experienced jitteriness, racing thoughts, stomach cramps, dry eyes, palpitations, tremors, and restlessness. so, you can imagine the difference of the interaction with a much stronger amphetamine and taking both at the same time.

Honestly, the FDA has not done any tests to answer your question scientifically. Anything said is mere opinion or assumption, and at best an educated guess. As for my educated(ish) guess as being a pharmacy technician, meth will of course disrupt Cymbalta which is a serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). Similar to Prozax (fluexetine) whihc is a SSRI, other drugs can have major synergistic side effects when combined. Having an overload of dopamine from the meth while limiting S &N can cause twitching, arrhythmia, loss of focus, and who knows what else. I would not recommend mixing drugs. Many have died doing so, just with legal drugs that have FDA documentation! Brittney Murphy, Anna Nicole Smith's son, Michael Jackson. Need I say more?
