Meth Addict

Question: Need help with meth addict?

Hello Im posting this question up because I need serious help with my uncle who is a meth addict. First of all he used to be a great person used to work, everything was going good for him. But he started doing meth[crystal] and all of a sudden he turned into an asshole stoped working etc. Well my mom and my dad want to get him of that stuff but he just wont budge. My dad sometimes even beats him up which is really sad but he still doesnt understand. My dad doesnt even want to look at him but he is still at our house because my mom doesnt want him to live in the streets. I think his problem is really seriuos he talks by himself and even fights with himself verbally. My mom wants to send him to rehab but we can't afford it and Im wondering if you guys could help me out on how to solve this problem. Extra info about him he is 30, he isnt a citizen, im not sure what else....Hopefully someone could help me out, would really appreciate it thanks.

Call your local hospital and ask to speak to a social worker and explain the situation to them. They may be able to help.

People like that usually withdraw from society and become outcasts... the best way to deal with such things is to slowly try to ween them off of it. If your sneaky, try to put a choke hold on his supply. If u do somthing or not, eventyally he is gonna run out of money and only god knows what happens then

I went through the same thing with my mom, in arizona where i live, they have this place called terrose it's a rehab facility and it's free to whoever, they'll even take you in off the street, do some reseach online, there's probably a place like that near where you live

Call that show intervention! Or your family has to give him that tough love! Put him out. dont give him any money. give a curfew.make meals pull him out of his room make sure he eats. break his pipes hide the foil. and make sure he cant contact his connection! I used to use also but i quit on my own. they have to want to quit.If not TOUGH LOVE! Good Luck to you and your family!
