How do meth addicts sleep?


Question for other recovering meth addicts.?
I've been clean off Crystal Meth for a year and a month. It's still a struggle every day, every time I leave the house I leave my money at home and my first thought is always to buy some dope. It's hard because I could go to about 30 different places and get it, and they re all really close to my house. I don't leave the house much, I basically lock myself inside everyday and if I go anywhere its the same place every time, to my best friends. I've waited and waited and waited for things to get easier, they do get easier but its VERY SLOWLY, the problem is that I feel dead, I basically have no emotions except for anger, I don't care about anything except for staying clean . I don't feel happiness, and if I do it's only for a second and i don't feel it strongly. I'm SO insecure about my personality & how I come across to people, I was never like that before meth. I used to be tha happiest person ever, really bubbly, carefree, I would talk without thinking & joke a lot, and never used to over analyze things like I do now. I hate myself & the person that I am now, I'm always so serious because I can't let go & be free. I need to know when things will be how they were before meth, if they ever will.When will I be the person that I once was...& have you been through things like this?All the people that I know that have done meth are still meth addicts, except for one, he's been clean for almost 6 months & is doing GREAT, he acts like nothing happened & nothing is wrong, it's so much easier for him, I don't know how he does it...

If meth makes people clean, why do meth addicts typically have messy houses?

If you do a ton of meth and exercise a lot can that complete mess up your brain and cause uncontrollable peeing where you might accidently pee your pants and not realize becuase your working out a lot and on a lot of drugs??

Relative has slurred speech, is an ex-crystal meth addict- is he doing it again?
he was almost non understandable, slurring words. should i be concerned? has was addicted for 15 years to the drug, and has fallen off the wagon a couple of times.

A relative was crystal meth addict 14 yrs, now says won't live long, huffs & puffs a lot?
I wonder what is going on with her, she now is very overweight, and is out of breath when she just walks across the room. She also flies into periodic rages, and keeps saying that she won't live much longer.She had to have all of her teeth removed, and get false teeth. She eats a very bad diet, and I wonder, if at times, she isn't still using the drug from time to time. She eats a very bad diet, high in cholesterol. She occasonally has slurred speech, and irrational behavior. I know there are possible heart problems with long time crystal meth use, and I wonder if there is heart damage. She is in her mid fifties, and I don't think she has been to a doctor at all. I am concerned, because she is helping babysit a child.

My brother was a crystal meth addict...?
and because of this, I would describe him as socially and mentally challenged. This was many years ago, but now he claims to be clean. He lives with my mother who is 54, and he can't hold a job or even hold a friendship because his mental state is that of an 8 yr. old and his age is 27. My concern is that once in a while he flips and becomes like a monster who's dangerous to us. He's come very close to hitting my mother and sister. He also just recently started torturing animals, we believe he killed my mother's chihuahua and has hit another one of her dogs. I'm convinced that the torturing is the beginning to something, that if left untreated, can become very sinister. I want him out of my mother's house and so does she, but he literally has nowhere to go. No friends, no family, nothing What do we do? My mother has tried to get help from the government to send him to a doctor who can help him, but he was denied. We don't want to see him living under a bridge, we love him. But at the same time we have to take care of ourselves. Besides, if we turn him onto the streets, who knows what can happen, he can hurt someone or someone can hurt him.............My mother would be considered low income, I would say, so sending him to a pricey rehab is something we can't afford. I'm a student, so I myself can't afford it either. He was denied Medical, so in other words, he's screwed. We live in the Coachella valley, in Palm Springs area, any suggestions?any would be appreciated,.Thank you
