Meth Amphetamine

Question: A meth amphetamine question: how can a person get it out of materials?

Some of you know, the issues i have discussed about my grandson. his father is on meth. my grandson is living with me, and tested positive for it, because of his father. it was not given to him, but he got it in his system somehow. i ask the question about if it could be transferred from the skin. everyone said no. but, it got in him somehow. he has some favorite toys here: elmo and barney. is there a way to remove it just in case it is in those toys. perhaps, buying new ones is best. i just still want to know, can it be removed. the barney he has is not made anymore. if i can get it out of him, if it is in there, i will. he sucked a pacy and i think he got it in his system that way. his pacy touched something. his father had a very old couch that would certainly have meth in it. it was not smoked in my grandson's presence, so it is coming from some material. is there a way to remove. THANKS. i do have my grandson. his parents do not. the question is not about that. it is simply about if anyone knows how to get it out of a stuffed animal. i am very careful. he is extremely attached to it. of course i really love my grandson. that is why he is with me until his parents meet all requirements.

You should be more concerned with getting out of there instead of decontaminating or getting rid of certain household objects. This is the first time I'm hearing about this, so I'm gonna go ahead and say that 1) you need to report them b/ c they are endangering the safety and well-being of the child, and 2) move away and stay away from the people on drugs. If that is not possible (custody issues) that is where reporting them comes in b/ c you could get temporary custody and they will have a restraining order against them to keep them away from you and the child. Oh and if this is YOUR house, you need to kick them out right here quick if you REALLY care about this child's life.

Wash any and all materials that you think was present when the drug was smoked. Wash down walls, furniture, floors... The smoke leaves a residue on everything it touches. But the residue is easily washed out since water quickly dissolves it..
