What do I do if I think my family found a leftover meth lab?
So my aunt is moving into her sister's house... she is going to be paying rent and living there minus my other aunt ...anyways, we were cleaning out the basement, and there was a glass coke bottle with clear liquid inside. It was knocked over on accident and it fizzed and when we took it outside there were little crystal looking things inside the bottle. We were pretty sure it was battery acid. But there was this odd oder in the basement, and after cleaning, my aunt complained of a headache. There had been a man there with my other aunt and he was a known drug dealer. Could this be a leftover meth lab from him? It was over a year ago that he left, but what should we do now? Do we have to contact the cops since it has been so long?

Out of curiosity, what does a meth lab smell like? Lately around my neighborhood, I have noticed strong smells that have not been present before. A strong burning rubber smell and at times a sewage type smell. I mean, it smells so bad. It's overwhelming. What would be some other signs of a lab? We haven't been able to pin down exactly where the smell is originating from but it seems very close. Like maybe next door. It came into my home and gave me and my entire family headaches and me and my mother asthmatics had difficulty breathing so we left the house for about 15 minutes and came back. The smell was still here but not as bad.

How to tell if someone has a meth lab in their house?
ok so my sister started seeing this really weird guy i've never had a right feeling about him but she wont listen to what i have to say about him,any way when you go in his house theres this horrible smell and he wont let anybody smoke inside the house.

What does a meth lab smell like?
we have a suspicion that there is someone behind our house that has a meth lab. today we was sitting in our back yard and we smelled somethin that we never smelled before and it was closer to the end of our yard where other houses are. it smelled like rotten fish and just weird i cant describe it. but the pple have cameras above the door and facing the road, they are nasty, there is pple in and out and you can tell they do drugs but if there is a meth lab goin on there i have to do somethin so i wanna know what does it smell like?

so like i saw on a tv show that cooking meth in your house can harm your babby and cause problems when u are pregnate. Is this really true? If I am pregnate what will happen to my babby if my boyfriend does cook meth in our trailer? serious answers only please. Should I make him stop or will my babby be fine?

If you suspect you live near a meth lab, what harm could it do to you healthwise?
I'm 23, and I'm pretty sure my neighbors are cooking that crap. I was sitting outside and saw a man approach the house with a bag full of household cleaners etc, and dry ice in a huge bag in his other hand. I thought it was weird but whatever. Later in the night, I opened the back door to have a cigarette and smelt and overwhelming odor sort of like, propane mixed with cat pee or some kind of bug spray. Stupid me, I didn't put two and two together til the next day when it was too late.. Anyways, for a few days now I've had a stuffy sore nose. When I wipe or blow it, it's mostly a brownish color with a tiiiiiiiny tinge of blood, like when you have a scab and peel it off. I was wondering if it could be from my neighbors, or just a sinus infection...

Is living in a former Meth-lab house bad for your health?
My cousin rented his house out to some people who he caught with a meth lab in the basement. He called the police and there was a cleanup done. I'm not sure how good they cleaned it up, though.He separated from his wife and ended up moving into this house again. He's been working in the basement a lot lately... wood work. And I've noticed he has lost a lot of weight. And he seems hyper. He has never been much of a talker BEFORE, but when I spoke with him yesterday he talked a lot Telling me a lot about his divorce and his relationship. It concerns me a little, because it just doesn't seem like him. I'm wondering if the house is still contaminated and it's affecting him or is he just very lonely? I have never been very close to my cousin. He lives right beside our grandma and I visit her weekly. That's when I see him. He has small kids and I'm concerned about his health and that of his kids. If I were closer to him I would have already asked him about this issue. But he has always been a little private and I'm not sure if he would like my intrusive questions about his health. Yes, the authorities had people to come in and clean the house .. They taped the house off and went in with their " space like" suits and all. I have heard that once the chemicals are in the walls they stay there. I'm sure they cleaned the surfaces, but there has been no reconstruction done in the basement.Thanks, for all of the great answers. I'm having a little trouble deciding the " best" one.
