Meth Lab

Question: Where can i find out about a home test kit for meth to make sure a meth lab wasnt there before i moved in?

Check with the police, you don't want them busting in and finding traces of meth all over. Unless you're planning on expanding the lab.

I dont really think there is any way to test because it is generally made from home chemicals. I would check with your local police department, if anyone can help you it would be them.

Call the local law enforcement. They can test this for you or tell you how to do it or maybe if there was a bust there.

If you're worried about it maybe still being there to get you in trouble, the cops will do a search for you for free, if you're worried about damage maybe from their being a meth lab, contact the appraiser or a licensed contractor to see if there is any structural damage, or see if an insurance claim was ever made due to a fire.

There is no such test to check your house.. If you are worried, go into public records at your local courthouse, and find out if your house was under investigation and what arrests and deaths occured in your home..thats the best you can do..

Get a black light (ultraviolet) and go over the top of all the walls. The Phosphorus will show up even through the new paint.
