Me and my family (3 kids under 4) have had a hard time getting to sleep. The times we usually feel tired, we are wide awake and can't lay down...

You can easily smell the meth lab when they're cooking sort of smell like carburetor cleaner, very distinct smell. If they're also dealing you'll suddenly see a bunch of cars show up, people coming in and out then as quickly as they showed up everyone's gone, it's a dead giveaway. You're probably feeling anxious, being around a meth lab won't get you wired. Biggest thing I'd be worried about is the place blowing up and catching fire. Takes some pretty hazardous chemicals to cook up methamphetamine.

Just call the cops on them and see what happens...

I'd see what other causes there might be before accusing your neighbours of running a meth lab. Look up your symptoms, either in a medical dictionary or online, and see what else it might be.

Call the cops. you can smell a meth lab because it has a distinct smell of something kinda like burnt plastic or pepper, you might recognize the smell because sometimes you will also get money that smells like it. I would also call the department of public health, they may be able to come out and investigate. It doesn't necessarily have to be a meth lab, they can just be smoking the meth and it could travel through the walls and into your home just enough to keep you all awake

Call the fire department and complain of a "mysterious odor "...then if they suspect anything they call the cops.I would suggest doing this when maybe they're not home so you dont have any trouble with them. Is there a lot of traffic there, all hours of the night? Are you smelling weird chemical smells. Are there Dark window coverings, like blankets on the windows? (especailly all day no light of day sees the inside of the house. Is there lots of debri/ trash scattered around and maybe old cars sitting around? Do they act suspicious? Is there a lot of fighting, or parttying? If so these are all signs of meth. I wish you luck getting rid of the "trash " in your neighborhood! You have every right to protect your kids/ family from this.

I hate it when people call the fire department for a "strange odor. " We actually don't have anything to detect it. Cops want you to call us because they don't want to deal with it. Cops come help if there's a crime, anything else you need we come. I'll definitely call someone! Whether its Fire or Police, somebody. If it's a meth lab it will look very suspicious and is very dangerous! DO NOT GO OVER THERE!
