When methadone is taken under medical supervision, long-term maintenance causes no adverse effects to the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, bones, blood, brain, or other vital body organs. Methadone produces no serious side effects, although some patients experience minor symptoms such as constipation, water retention, drowsiness, skin rash, excessive sweating, and changes in libido. Once methadone dosage is adjusted and stabilized or tolerance increases, these symptoms usually subside.

If you are talking about methadone, it has a lot of long term side effects similar to heroine and other opiates such as morphine, etc. I think you are talking about using crystal meth though. That is the most nasty and deadly drugs you can take. Meth degrades the nervous system, fries your lungs and sinuses, destroys your teeth, and cooks your brain. The side effects of meth are similar to cocaine and crack, only worse. There is no such thing as casual drug use. If you are messing with this stuff you are headed for death and disaster and a life of agony. get away while you still can.
