I suspect a relative is using large amount of light bulbs gone . The person asked another family member to purchase energy efficient bulbs to replace the old ones. Can these be used as paraphernalia ? I'm curious about other signs of use, as well.I am also curious to know if there is an advantage to these people using energy efficient bulbs.

Do meth users ever get clean?
I just met what appeared to be a really nice woman. When she is with me, she's responsive, and actually very sensual. At other times, she keeps me at arms length, not wanting any close involvement. I've found that she does " lines of meth" before she goes out with me. I'm a straight male, that has never been exposed to people who use such things. Is there any hope for her? or is a relationship not possible?

Crystal meth users: What are these bong-like juice bottle things?
My roommate is a crystal meth addict who is trying to quit. As far as I can tell, she has been clean for 3 weeks and is doing really well. I've seen her every day. She has not appeared to be high. She eats and sleeps normally. HOWEVER, I keep finding these bong like contraptions that she makes out of a small plastic juice bottle. She'll take the inkwell out of a Bic pen, punch the pen through a hole in the bottle, seal up the hole with a glue gun, and then pour an inch of juice in the bottom of the bottle I see residue inside the pen. It doesn't appear that she held a flame to the bottle. She's using these things in the bathroom, so there is no boiling water involved. After I found the first one and asked her, she said that there was residue in the bottle and she was drinking the juice hoping for a minor high. When I found the second one, she said, " Oh, that's an old one." Then I found another one today, obviously new. I've also noticed that she's keeping bottled water and Gatorade in the freezer. Anything that looks like a chemistry experiment raises a red flag with me right now. What the hell are these things? What is she doing? I took some pictures and will post them to Flickr or something when I get the chance. it gives you the feeling of joy because it is taking over your body and brain and every time you do meth you take more bigger doses of the drug your doing

Is there a cure for meth users? Negative people need not answer?
like a pill to give them the ability to be interested in anything again, to laugh again, to love again without speed in them but most of all have the energy to do anything again. I know so many people that need help.

This is a serious question about meth users?
On Fox8's website i see " The faces of Meth Before & After" The more photos i keep looking at i notice that most meth users have these red spots almost looks like they scratch their face . I was wondering how did they gets those spots, and if they actually get it by scratching their face, or they have gotten it by something else like maybe a bacterial infection or something.

What are the long term effects for meth users after they quit?
My ex was a severe meth addict for several years, after being a cocaine addict for several years. She got clean about 4 years ago, but now has started developing a drinking problem. She use to be very well off, and a drug lord who made millions before she got caught and got clean.There are certain personality traits that she has. For example drunk driving, a lack of empathy for other people Like, doesn't understand other peoples pain , a sort of unfailing and exaggerated self confidence like, not only is she super confident, she also thinks EVERYONE loves her , a certain greediness for money, the thinking that she can do anything, accomplish anything. In our relationship alone she was verbally abusive, manipulative, and completely lacking empathy. I'm wondering which is the cause, and which is the effect of people like this. Are they born like this? Or does the drugs and money turn them into people like this?

A question about meth users?
I was curious about how long it would take someone to get addicted to meth.Approximately how many uses before the addiction starts.A friend of mine would smoke meth once a week for a year straight but never got addicted and hasnt touched the stuff in months.So can you only get addicted if you do it many times a week?

Can anyone find an article about the connection between meth users and how the collect objects.?
I've heard many things about meth users collecting object scrap metal and such . I cannot find an article about the two and how they are connected. Please help.I'm sure meth user collect thing, my dad was on meth for 9 years and he would collect rocks, my sister's mum was on meth for 17 years and collected screws and nuts and bolts. and I've heard tons of people on police shows and law and order shows talk about it.

How do meth users act when coming down from a high?
Let's say a few days after getting high like 2 4 days? Would he she be tired? Sleep a lot? Be hungry? Less hungry? Depressed? Emotional changes?Let's assume this person is not an addict.. just had a relapse so there wouldn't be with drawls.

please take the time to read and give your advice or inputits greatly appreciated and i really need it.was i stupid for doing meth? very. regret it? yes. addicted? not even.i feel like i have to share this with someone and im ashamed to talk to my parents, friends, etc. so please take the time to read and try and give some adivce. its greatly apperciated by the way im 16 turning 17 in one weekwell this is my story. i first tried crystal meth about 2 years ago. i decided to start one time because i was a big guy and i had heard that it helps u loose weight when you smoke it, so i decided to try it. after my first time i didnt do it again till months after. again my 2nd time i didnt do it again till months later.. well straight to tha point i did it about 5 times in a year, then didnt touch it again till a week agotime had passed.. and well a week ago me and my friends got together for a smoke out session weed session a week ago, and my friend brought crystal along. so we did it. after that we sold the weed and bought an 80 of crystal for four people and we did it that was on friday 11 7 08. after that i bought a 20 for me and two friends on tuesday 11 11 08. again this friday yesterday we did it again.right now im still high on it with no type of hunger and about 4hrs of sleep. like i said im not addicted at all. i can live with out drugs i dont need them to survive nothing like that. the reason i think im not addicted is because i have a strong mind. i always take charge of whatever it is im doing, from school to my job to my personal goals and etc.now i want to know if im damaged badly in any kind of way from the times i abused crystal meth? and does crystal meth really help you loose weight? if yes how much? and how? also should i force myself to eat just a little bit, so i wont have a headache?and well to the ones that took the time to read and give me some advice or your input positive or negative, thank you very much

Is it possible to be a "week end meth user"?
basically what i'm asking is why does it seem like all meth users HAVE to become abusers? why cant they just do it on the week ends. and lead normal lives like people that smoke marijuana. i have never done meth so i don't know what the high is like but it would be cool is a past meth user could explain to me why exactly you had to keep doing it again and again instead of being a casual week end user? also could you explain what the high is like if possible

I was just on a site and they had pictures of different meth users, and all of them had nasty looking sores all over them.I was just wondering how exactly do they get the sores, by scratching themselves or is it something in the Meth?

Meth users or people that know one...Question. Is meth as bad as the media portrays?I mean bad teeth, no money, no job, using everyday, bad skin, ect. I asking for this reason. I have a friend that has used Meth for 15 years now I've never tried it , he holds a job, has money, uses it usually only on weekends and looks very nice, great skin, dresses well, really nice teeth, decent skin... ect. If it's so addicting they say 96 percent addiction rate , how come he only uses on weekends and his phyiscal appearance is great. Any former current users welcome to answer. My friend always tried to get me to try it, but I haven't.. Just wondering if the commercials are WAY overexagerrated...He isn't pulling my leg. I've seen him use it. 15 years ago, he used crack and later " converted" to meth. I'm not saying it is a good drug by any means, but he has not had any problems in 15 years of using it not yet anyway .
