Question: Why do meth users have scabs on their faces?

I'm watching Nancy Grace and they are showing people with scabs on their faces from using meth. Does it burn their skin inside out? Do they itch? Cause bad acne? Gross. I don't even know why people would want to try it in the first place. It has battery acid in it. Btw, Amy Winehouse has a problem with her skin and it's probably from meth.

Im pretty sure if this is right but People who use meth hallucinate *fact* sometimes they hallucinate theres bugs or acne or things on there face... and they claw at there face untill it bleeds!!

I'm not sure, maybe it's an effect, who knows maybe that really happens. it's not supposed to be one of the symptoms.

People on meth pick at things and become paranoid and obsessive about things. If they had one pimple to start with, they focus on it and keep picking and digging and scratching until it gets worse and more develop. Meth effects their nervous system and they have no control over these kinds of actions. I was breifly married to one so I know exactly what he was doing and why it was happening. Dont worry, Im not married to him anymore and the drugs are the reason.

Those are commonly referred to as crank bugs. They're caused sometimes by the body rejecting toxins through the skin, but more often they result from the user scratching at their own skin because they have the sensation of bugs crawling under their skin. LOVELY stuff, isn't it?
