Meth Users

Question: Do meth users ever get clean?

I just met what appeared to be a really nice woman. When she is with me, she's responsive, and actually very sensual. At other times, she keeps me at arms length, not wanting any close involvement. I've found that she does "lines of meth " before she goes out with me. I'm a straight male, that has never been exposed to people who use such things. Is there any hope for her? or is a relationship not possible?

She will keep taking meth till she ods on it or goes crazy. doesnt mean u cant date her

I would say that there is no reason you should have to put up with that, there are many other girls out there for a handsome man like yourself. Theres always the chance that she will try to get you into it = O.

She can become clean but the cravings last a long time after use has stopped. If you think you can take the pressure of helping a user then I say go for it. But if she does not want to stop there is little hope for ending her habits because Meth is very addictive and users that are cornered with change can become violent. If she wants to stop then you are a good cornerstone to help her because she will need constant motivation and a lot of help to overcome the addiction.

Meth users get clean if they want... relationships are possible but if there already crazy about that one love in there life its hard to compete with drugs but it is possible... sometimes it takes that one person...it depends on what your willing to do.

They can get "clean ", however they will still probably be addicted, and have severe withdraw symptoms. Meth is extremely addictive and dangerous, it is one of the nastier drugs out there. I would not get too involved

You have to be an idiot to be a meth user. That shit kills a lot of people and is way too strong and way too addictive for recreational use. It's sheer intensity is mind-blowing, and it lasts a long time. If you want to experiment with drugs, don't try meth ... and yeah there is hope for your girl ... if she quits, which may take a while.

There is hope for her. The problem is that it sounds like she is a regular user if she does it before going out with you. Once meth takes hold of a person it almost always doesn't let go. Most people will continue to use meth and use more of it as time goes by. They will not quit until their life falls apart and the really want to. If you want her to quit that's not enough reason. Marriages are broken because one partner uses meth and can't quit to save the relationship. Even though she is a nice person I would be very hesitant to get very involved.

Yes, they can get clean but the negative effects can last a life time, AND into the next generation's.
