I understand what your talking about,but my past situation was that my ex-husband and his friend decided to start making meth,in our basement.So,we always had a constant supply of meth it actually got to the point where I was falling asleep while smoking the stuff.Just totally out of it,I keot telling my ex-husband to stop making the meth in the house(basement).I told him that from the day I found the 'lab' in his room(office as he called it).I never went into that room and he usually locked it because he made his hunting arrowns down there,and didn't want them disturbed,which has happened a couple of times before.but anyways,he wouldn't listen to me I threatened to call the police,he said that he would just tell the police that I was the one cooking the junk.And of course I was dumb enought to believe him,he was just NOT himself while using.Well,I finally stopped using he kept getting more and more into using.1 day while he and his friend were down in the basement cooking their 'stuff',I was talking on the phone to a friend,I was right over top of the room that they were cooking it in.The next thing I knew I heard a big BOOM!!! I thought that maybe my husband dropped an A/ C that he was fixing for his friends mother.Anyways,I decided to go open the basement door and look whats going on....ALL I could see was FLAMES and SMOKE,I freaked out...to just make it short.....I watched his friend get burned to death......and my ex-husband went into our basement to get his friend out 3 freaking times.To this day we have NO idea why his friend went back into the basement 3 times.My ex-husband went in there 3 times and he also got severely burned and was in intensive care for 2 weeks.His friend died 12 hours later at a burn center in PA.It was the worst experience of my life,and even after my ex-husband lost his friend,and even after he was in the hospital for a month.He again started cooking it again at another friends house,I just couldn't go through that again,and this time I could have lost him as well.So,I did what noone else would have ever done to their spouse...I finally called the DEA agent that gave me his name and number that night.My ex-husband was already going to prision,but me calling just made it a little faster.I know some people here will give me a hard time for doing what I did....but you were NOT there.I went to his parents,they took his side no matter of all the evidence I had found that he ws cooking again....I divorced him soon there after,he went to prison for 6 months..he is now totally 100% different and is living a good life now.he actually thanked me for doing that......I have NO regrets calling.But this IS a deadly drug and does nothing but destroy a persons life.... |
