How soon do methamphetamines show up in hair for drug testing?

Question: How soon do methamphetamines show up in hair for drug testing?

(Posted by: waggs1 on 2008-01-16 15:23:03)

I have applied for a job that requires pre- employment hair testing for drugs. I do take prescribed pain meds but occasionally in the past (5 or 6 weeks ago) indulged, stupidly with methamphetamines. Never again. I really want this jpb it has all I need for myself & my wife. I was really depressed and made a mistake by indulging. I have never done this before. So what do you think my chances are about passing the hair test. I'll probably be doing it in about 2 weeks?

I heard that any kind of drug will stay in the hair for years. I feel your pain, I have a pee test tomorrow for a job. I smoked the weed a week and four days ago. and I was a pretty heavy smoker. I been drinking water, pickle juice and cranberry juice like crazy since I quit but I am very freaked out that I will fail. what I suggest to you since you still have two weeks is to shave your head now and again in a week and hopefully you'll be all good. good luck buddy.

Because the root and hair shaft will be tested, your best bet is to use that shampoo or say you just converted and it's against you religion to cut your hair.

If you've had any new hair growth (which you have) since then, it will show up. my suggestion-shave your head.
