Question: I smoked crystal meth earlier?

Yeah i know it's stupid, dangerous and illegal. i've only done it a couple times due to peer pressure. im scared that with those couple times i've suffered any damage. can i get addicted from a couple uses? can i get damaged from a couple uses? how can i help my friends stop that?

No damage- yet. My friend hit crystal like 2, swore he'd never do it again, and is hooked on it. Haven't seen him in months. You probably can't stop your friends, get new ones!

You can get addicted with only one use, and yes you got damaged, do you know what kind of crap is in that stuff, the only way your gonna be able to help your friend is to put them in a recovery center, it takes time and effort but you HAVE to it is the only way to truly get over an addiction like that

Yes, you can cause damage, but probably not irreversible damage. Yes, you can get addicted, and I wouldn't worry about your friend as much as I would worry about yourself. Meth is seriously bad stuff, just check my source.

Best solution, don't be around those people. Esp. when they are doing it. Excuse yourself. If your friends can't respect you not wanting to do it, then you might need some new friends. You don't have to be like them. Please DONT!! Tell them it's not you. Yes, you can get addicted very easily because this drug is a upper. And tends to make people feel good. That's what addiction is. Tell you the truth, I experimented long time ago. I regret it, but it's in my past now.... for over 7 years. Meth is not worth risking your life for. It will ruin other people's lives... your gf, family, friends... As long as you quit NOW, you should be fine. Look at the long term affects of meth does to a persons body... Be smart and careful. Yes you can get addicted from the first use. I don't know how to get your friends to stop, really you just need to let those losers go. I did 11 months in a drug rehab for addiction and I can tell you that people will only stop when they are ready and if they realize that using is a problem, and it took me a few years to get to that point. The point is you need to get away from it NOW before the drug controls you. You can talk to your friends until your blue in the face but they won't listen until THEY are ready, but it never hurts to try. I wish you the best of luck and PLEASE get out while you still can.

If you stop now you will be fine… The first use of meth 9-10 will make you want to use again. I’m guessing you didn’t tell your friends how bad it is to use meth when you did it. Keep in mind, friends that pressure to do drugs are not your true friends. They may be your “boys� at the moment but they are all heading in a downward spiral that leads to theft, decay, jail time, and eventually death! The only way you can stop this happening to you is by keeping a distance from those that use which includes your friends at the moment. Let them know you want them to stop because you care about them. If you feel like you want to use, please get professional help…
